Pistons or Lions?

The moves the Pistons have made reminds me of the Lions when Matt Millen was in charge. Dumars has either lost his mind or Chuck Daly was the guy pulling the strings all along and it was just Joe D. taking the credit all these years. Besides getting RaWeed over to Detroit and winning a championship that year, what has he done that's been good since then.

The list of bad moves could last for days if we were to list them all out. The biggest problem for Detroit is that most of the top teams in the East have gotten significantly better since last season. The Pistons have gotten worse including another hideous draft. Why would Detroit pick up a sweet Pt. guard like Lawson, or a proven big man like DuJuan Blair? It's typical of the Spurs to get a potential impact player late in the 2nd round. Anyone remember watching Sam Young from Pitt last year? This guy can light it up against anyone? He will play the 3 spot...just like Austin Daye, except Daye weighs as much as I did in college. Unbelievable.

The only person I think could run this team further into the ground is Isiah Thomas.

  1. Dumars is a hypocrite too. Curry was terrible and needed to go, but Dumars said that this team needs an experienced coach and even told Curry that he was getting an experienced coach. So he goes out and hires a guy with only assistance experience? Granted he's been around the league for almost 20 years, but that doesn't mean anything.
It's a joke, he can't get a free pass forever.
